The program is free to join, and allows you to monetize your audience and earn commissions from each new wedding referral.
Can I publish my coupon?
You are welcome to share your coupon on your own website, blog, or social media. We do ask that no affiliate lists their code on coupon aggregator or discount database sites (e.g. RetailMeNot-style platforms) — this applies to everyone. If you are a wedding planner using the Branded Membership, we recommend keeping your coupon for face-to-face use with your own clients, as this fits the professional context the membership is designed for — but this is a guideline, not a strict rule.
What requirements do I need to meet to apply?
To apply, you must match one of these profiles: be able to demonstrate that you have regular access to couples who are planning weddings (e.g., wedding planners, flower arrangers, wedding venues), or have an established online audience which would involve owning and running an active website, and creating original content, such as online courses, seminars, blog posts, or videos.
How will I know if my application is accepted?
We will carefully review your application and should be processed within 5 business days. If your application is approved, then you'll receive an email confirming your acceptance and some tools to help you get started.
Can I become a WeWriteSpeeches affiliate in any country?
Yes. Our program is global and we welcome you to apply as long as Stripe supports your country of residence. However, please note that, for now, our briefing packs and wedding speeches are written in English only.
How are referrals tracked?
Upon acceptance into the WeWriteSpeeches Ambassador Program, you will receive access to our affiliate software where you can access your coupon code. When educating people about the WeWriteSpeeches approach to wedding speech planning and writing, give them your coupon code. It will entitle them to a discount on our online store. When they use that coupon, you will earn a commission.
Can I create comparison or review content?
Yes — comparison posts, reviews, and "best of" roundups are all welcome. This kind of content can be genuinely useful to couples researching their options, and we are happy to be featured. We ask only that any description of our services is accurate and kept up to date as our product evolves. Please avoid making misleading claims about competitors. The one firm restriction is that pages whose primary purpose is capturing coupon code searches (rather than providing genuine editorial content) fall into the aggregator category and are not permitted.
